Battery

The battery life is quite amazing. It is not easy to kill it off in a day, but with some heavy use, navigation, bright screen, taking lots of photos & videos and gaming, then maybe you will get to the end of battery.

Camera

As we have said in our previous impression of Galaxy S21 Ultra, the camera is a big part of the phone with some big numbers like 108 MP, 100X zoom, 8K video. The experience of the camera rather than its quality has improved a lot.

Sometimes, it is annoying when you’re locked to something that’s not quite what you’re not trying to shoot, and you have to probably zoom out and zoom back in again. But, when it does pick up the subject correctly, it’s great. Although, it’s sometimes not usable at 100X as it’ blurry. But if you were using 100X zoom before then you will be much happier with how much easier it is to use in this new version. The camera also detects when you are trying to take an extreme close-up and switches to macro. But it does not have a separate macro camera, as it doesn’t need one. Rather, it uses the ultra-wide camera which has autofocus and a super close minimum focus distance. So, it takes a solid quality macros.

Like when you first open the camera app, Samsung asks if you want to take a natural or bright selfie, rather than defaulting to bright all the time. The 100X zoom is very much stable than its previous version, thanks to subject locking in viewfinder, so when you zoom in the camera identifies the subject of the photo you’re taking and locks the viewfinder to track that instead of shaking around too much.

It does 4K 60 fps from all the four cameras including the selfie camera. It also has director’s view which let you record video from multiple cameras simultaneously which is enabled by Snapdragon 888, Useful, for vloggers.
