One of the most important thing in your life is Time. Time management is a skill and if you are unable to manage your time you cannot be a successful person in life.

1. Work smarter not harder
Learn to work smarter than to harder. It will save energy, increase productivity, and moreover save time.
2. Your Time is your own
Only you have the control on your time no one else have. Take control over it before someone controls it.
3. Plan your success
Plan yourselves the ways of success. Success should be the aim. Ways for success differs from person to person. Plan the right way which best suites to you.
4. Prioritize
Prioritize your tasks based on importance and urgency.
5. Allocate less time
Work expands to fill the time we allocate to it. Allocate less time to do a thing or target early.
For example, if you set time to complete a course in 3 months, for sure first 2 months will be a total wastage and will try to complete in the last one month. And in most cases it will not be completed and need to extend for another month.
Planning to complete a project in 6 months and initial days will not be doing much activity thinking that there is enough time and in 90% of the cases, the project will be incomplete within the time.
Next time allocate less time or target early. You can see that the work is completely ahead of the targeted time.
6. Follow 80-20 rule
80% of the results come from 20% of the efforts.
80% of the income of a shop comes from 20% of the products or customers. Concentrate on that 20%. Or 80 % of the marks in an exam comes from 20 % of the topic. By finding out and spending more time to study that will help you to score 80% of the marks.
7. 2-minute rule
If you can do a task in less than 2 minutes, do right away.
8. Batching
Batching of similar or related tasks increases productivity.
Shopping for groceries together – instead of going to the shops every day, it can be planned once in a week. Checking and sending emails together.
9. Stop multitasking
Stop doing many different tasks at the same time, it will reduce efficiency. Multitasking seems to complete the tasks in less time. However, if it is done separately the tasks can be competed faster and with greater quality
10. Learn to say no
It might be hard sometimes, but it will be “Yes” to yourself and for your set goals.
11. Automate the possible things
Use technology to automate possible tasks.
12. Focus on completing tasks
Focus on getting things done rather than making it perfect. Being a perfectionist will keep you stuck. Completing the task is ALWAYS better than perfect. Remember no one or nothing is 100% perfect. Don’t take it granted to complete the tasks somehow.
13. Organize space
Keep your space, whether it be your office or home, tidy and organized. It will save your time on searching for items.
14. Watching TV
Do not watch TV on your own. You will be wasting time on TV shows and other such things, which will be consuming your precious time. Instead watch TV with your family or friends for some time.
15. Block distractions
Identify and block the distractions that affect your work. It might be closing your windows at your workplace or notifications popping up on your computer.
Stop Social media alerts, it will distract your concentration on the tasks you are doing. Set specific and limited time for social media.
Bonus Tip: Try to implement 1-3 things from the list of tips. It will dramatically change your life. With practice you can implement all of the above tips easily.
